Ladies and Gentlemen,
We cordially invite you to a meeting with a unique man – Kent Washington – the first American basketball player to play in the Polish People’s Republic league in the 1980s . He was also the first representative of American basketball to appear behind the Iron Curtain.
The meeting will be an opportunity to listen to memories from this period, observe Poland at that time from the perspective of a Western athlete, and talk about sports, especially basketball.
The meeting will take place in the Consulate building on March 25 (Monday) at 7:00 p.m. Entry possible from 18:30. It will be conducted in English.
