It was an absolutely wonderful day at Krakus Senior Center!

The 3rd edition of SENIORIADA, (Senior Day), took place yesterday afternoon. Waiting for Krakus’ members were many surprises prepared by Krakus’ staff. The event opened with the director of the club together with the The Polish & Slavic Center (PSC) CEO, Agnieszka Granatowska. Our fitness trainer and the new representative of Głos Seniora, Natalia Pruszko, announced the wonderful guest, Łukasz Salwarowski, the president of Glos Seniora in Poland who spoke about business activity and encouraged New York seniors to participate in many activities and contests organized by Glos Seniora. Subsequently, choir Krakus, conducted by Anna Kucay, prepared an amazing performance which both moved and amused the audience. After the show the winners of the contest for nicest seniors were announced! This year’s awardees were: Waldemar, Wojciech, Tadeusz, Marianna, Maria and Danuta! The winners received attractive gifts and congratulations straight from the Polish and Slavic Board of Directors representative! After a delicious lunch, Krakus’ members had a chance to play seniors favorite game; BINGO! The game was received with great excitement and the winners of bingo were Waldemar, Aniela and Krystyna who received wonderful awards funded by Krakus Senior Center.

The Director of the club together with Krakus’ employees and consultants, Polish and Slavic Directors and The Board of Directors would like to send their best wishes to all seniors! May you stay healthy and celebrate Senior Day every day of the year!
