International Women’s Day at the JP2 Friendship Center

The John Paul 2 Friendship Center in Manhattan operating at the Polish Slavic Center celebrated Women’s Day on Friday on March 8.

The ceremony included wishes for all the ladies from the Club as well as gifts donated by Lowell Foods from Edison/NJ.

We would like to thank the company for sponsoring our center.

Then there was a concert of favorite songs about women by Mr. Antoni Niwelt, accompanied by the gathered guests in singing.

Here is the song list:

I kiss your hand, Madame
If I had a guitar
Into the blue distance
Not to make love on a night like this
I made an appointment with her for nine o’clock
Forty chestnuts
Gold ring
Marina
My dear
Irene
Gray Hair
You took my heart
Kitten
Everyone is allowed to love
Tango milonga
The most vitamins

Additionally, it was also the birthday of the club’s director, Jan Paweł 2 – Jakub Polaczyk, so a birthday cake was served to all the gathered guests.
