Thank you to all the guests who came to the New Year’s Eve party at the Polish-Slavic Center organized by our event coordinator Joanna Mrzyk. This unforgettable event took place in our newly renovated auditorium at 177 Kent Street in Brooklyn outfitted with a modern sound and lighting system. Music entertainment during the evening was provided by DJ Tomasz Chmielewski and Sebastian Stopka.
PSC Board Members: Marian Zak, Pawel Pachacz and Zbigniew Solarz were among the guests of the evening. They ran a surprise raffle with the grand prize: a PLL LOT airline return ticket to Poland. $2,420.00 was collected during the lottery! The proceeds from the raffle will support our scholarship fund. Each year, the Polish and Slavic Center awards young members of our community pursuing college education with a scholarship. Thank you all who took part in the raffle and helped us increase the fund for gifted younger members of our community. Happy New Year!
