A bounty of gifts at the PSC Christmas Fair

The PSC Christmas Fair on Sunday, December 11, 2022 was a unique occasion to buy stylish, handmade or made in Poland Christmas gifts and ornaments. The exhibitors offered a myriad of goods, from stylish amber jewelry, necklaces and bracelets made from precious stones, ceramic angels, Christmas tree crochet ornaments, ornaments made from paper, modeling clay, gingerbread, as well as decorative gift boxes, Christmas wreaths, homemade soap from natural ingredients. There were stands with organic cosmetics, diet supplements and clothing by Polish producers. Cooking enthusiasts were able to discuss the craft with a Thermomix consultant. The Polish and Slavic Center’s table offered drawings by famous Polish American artist Janusz Kapusta, while members of the Krakus Senior Center and students of the Agnieszka Nowiński art class sold their hand made greeting cards, paintings and knitted winter accessories.

While their parents shopped, the youngest visitors were entertained by the arts and crafts table by Ewa Maria Weglarz.

This was the second fair organized by PSC’s events coordinator Joanna Mrzyk. Like the one held in May, this one attracted Polish American craft artists as well as importers of clothes, jewelry, and cosmetics produced in Poland.
