2024 Election to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of the Polish and Slavic Center Inc.

The Nominating Committee of the Polish and Slavic Center Inc. (PSC) is seeking competent members to voluntarily serve on PSC’s Board of Directors and Audit Committee.

The application should include: personal data, resume, and a letter of application of the candidate specifying experience in social work and the reasons for standing in the Board of Directors of PSC or the Audit Committee. Candidates should indicate whether they are applying for a candidate to the Board of Directors or the Audit Committee.

Persons applying for a seat on the Board of Directors or the Audit Committee, according to the Articles of Association, must be members of the PSC for at least 2 years, have permanent residence or citizenship of the USA, consent to a criminal history check. In addition, the candidate / applicant should consent to the nomination and acceptance of the position, if selected.

Candidates for the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee should be able to take on the duties of the director or member of the Audit Committee, which include: preparation and participation in monthly meetings and special meetings, shaping the strategy, setting goals and tasks, implementing the assumptions of the strategic plan, and implementing the mission and vision of the organization.
