At Krakus Senior Center, part of the Polish and Slavic Center, we recently had the great pleasure of hearing an inspiring travel story from one of our amazing members — Ms. Małgorzata Zimmerman.
Ms. Małgosia, a senior with an extraordinary passion for exploring the world, took us on a captivating journey through her travels to Brazil, Chile, Egypt, Greenland, Iceland, Kenya, Tanzania, and Madagascar. Each destination came alive through her stories — full of color, adventure, wonder, and unforgettable encounters with local cultures. With joy, energy, and a sparkle in her eyes, she shared her personal experiences, while the audience listened with admiration and viewed stunning photos from her travels. It was a truly magical moment — because Ms. Małgosia doesn’t just visit the world, she brings it to life through her storytelling. This event reminded us all that it’s never too late to follow your dreams. Age is not a limitation — it’s a reason to keep exploring.
