We cordially invite you to the screening of the film “Life on the Run” – a passionate, dedicated and ambitious story of Piotr Hercog, an interdisciplinary athlete, multiple winner of the most important mountain ultramarathons.
The film will be shown in Polish with English subtitles.
The screening will take place on Monday, August 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the Consulate building (233 Madison Ave., 10016 New York). Entry possible from 7 p.m.

The film is a record of Piotr Hercog’s journey from childhood in the poor and dangerous districts of communist Poland to the world’s top. The authors, focusing on his story, also attempt to balance the gains and losses of his passion, also from the perspective of Piotr’s mother, wife and friends. The film’s co-author, the president of the Polish Himalayan Mountaineering Foundation, Ms. Maja Pietraszewska-Koper, will be present during the screening.
