On Thursday, February 20th, a group from the JP2 Friendship Center took a special trip to the Kenkeleba House Gallery. After enjoying lunch together, we walked to the museum to explore an exhibition dedicated to African-American culture in the United States.
Ms. Jennings was our guide and passionately shared insights about the exhibition, which she curated herself. The display featured works by 20 African-American artists, showcasing the richness and diversity of culture, history, and experiences of the African-American community in the U.S.
It was not only an artistic journey but also an important lesson about African-American heritage, filled with reflection and inspiration. This experience will surely stay with us for a long time. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and we look forward to more cultural events at our center.
