Regional Competition of the 2nd Season of Talent is Timeless at Krakus Senior Center

On August 7, 2024, our Krakus Senior Center PSC, part of The Polish & Slavic Center (PSC), had the honor of hosting the regional competition of the 2nd season of Talent is Timeless, organized by the NYC Department for the Aging. This exceptional event brought together seniors from various centers who showcased their extraordinary talents on our stage. Among the distinguished guests were representatives from the NYC Department for the Aging, New York City Council Member Lincoln Restler, and a representative from the New York Police Department who supported our initiative and emphasized the importance of promoting activity and creativity among seniors. The event was filled with joy, enthusiasm, and community spirit, leaving a lasting impression with every performance. All participants displayed tremendous dedication and passion, and the artistic level was incredibly high. After intense deliberations, the jury selected three finalists who advanced to the next stage:

Anna Kucay from Krakus Senior Center

William Pagan from Raices Times Plaza

Anita Bell Smith from CCNS St. Charles Jubilee

Each participant deserves immense applause for their wonderful presentations, proving that talent knows no age. Congratulations to all the winners, and we wish them continued success in the upcoming stages of the competition! We also extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to this event’s organization and those who came to support our seniors.
