On Monday, June 24, the opening of the Su-Casa exhibition took place at the Krakus Senior Center PSC presenting photographs and zines created by our seniors as part of the “Image and Zine Project”. This project was sponsored by Su-Casa, the Brooklyn Arts Council, Councilman Lincoln Restler and the NYC Department for the Aging and led by the talented artist and photographer Nancy Siesel.
The opening reception and refreshments were absolutely fantastic. Our guest of honor was Amy from the Brooklyn Arts Council We are very happy that she was able to visit us. Our seniors Małgorzata Zimmerman, Stanisława Krzyś and Krzysztof Romańczyk took part in the project, and their works were beautifully presented. Thank you, we are so proud of you!
