On Thursday, August 29th, Krakus Senior Center at the Polish and Slavic Center hosted a special celebration for our seniors born in July and August. The day was filled with dancing, singing, and joy that spread throughout our center. Our choir, KRAKUS, under the masterful direction of Anna Kucay, captivated everyone with their performance. The beautiful voices of the choir members echoed throughout the center, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
We had the pleasure of welcoming our distinguished guests: Paweł Pachacz, President of the Polish and Slavic Center; Bożena Konkiel, Member of the Board of Directors of the Polish and Slavic Center; and the outstanding pianist Nicholas Kaponyas. Mr. Kapoynas mesmerized us with his virtuoso piano performance – his playing was truly magical. An additional surprise was a joint performance by President Paweł Pachacz, who, on the trumpet, together with Nicholas Kaponyas on the piano, played the traditional “Sto lat” for the celebrants. It was a touching moment, full of emotions and beautiful music.
