Today was a special day for Polonia leaders who were recognized at the New York State Legislature in Albany. Together with us were two consuls – General Consul Mateusz Sakowicz, Vice-Consul Mateusz Debowicz, and other leaders that represented various Polish organizations.
It was an honor to be acknowledged for our work and dedication to the Polish Community. The Board of Directors of the Polish Slavic Center had a chance to meet with Assembly member Emily Gallagher and Senator Kristen Gonzalez, and talk about our needs , heritage, and the future of the Polish community here in the states.
It was a proud and inspiring moment for Polonia- showing just how strong, united , and engaged our community truly is.
