During Holy Week, seniors from the JP2 Club in Manhattan created their own Easter decorations and Easter eggs. Everyone could use their own creativity or use ready-made designs. Creating Easter eggs is a long-standing tradition from old Polish customs from the 10th century as a way to ward off evil spirits and later included in Easter rituals. The egg was simply recognized as a symbol of the Lord's resurrection. The JP2 Club used the technique of painting and blowing eggs. The winners of the award for the best Easter eggs were: 1st prize. Bogumila Jezut 2nd prize. Helena Unhauser 3rd prize. Stanley Strychacki The winners received Easter gifts for their award. Congratulations![]()
