Music That Connects Worlds – A Concert by Andrzej Ślązak at Krakus Senior Center

At Krakus Senior Center PSC, which operates under The Polish and Slavic Center (PSC), we had the great pleasure of hosting an exceptional artist – Professor Andrzej Ślązak, pianist, educator, and Director of the Institute of Music at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland.
For years, Professor Ślązak has been exploring the forgotten treasures of Polish music, passionately sharing his knowledge and love for the art with new generations of students. In 2023, as a Fulbright Senior Award recipient, he conducted research at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, focusing on Polish roots in Hollywood’s history, with special attention to the works of Henryk Wars and Bronisław Kaper.
During the concert at Krakus, we were transported into the magical world of film music – both familiar classics and hidden gems rediscovered. The audience was moved, enchanted, and deeply grateful for this heartfelt performance.
We sincerely thank Professor Ślązak for this unforgettable journey through sound and stories that deserve to be remembered!
