Polish Mother's Day Concert in Manhattan - Zofia Łoś
played at the JP2 Friendhsip Center.
On May 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., a concert was held
to celebrate Mother's Day. Zofia Loś performed for us -
a talented flautist and student of the prestigious Manhattan School of Music, who visited the club with her mother exactly one day after graduation.
Zofia was born in New York but raised in Warsaw.
After studying in New York, she is now returning to Warsaw for
a year to prepare for her next master's degree.
During the concert, we heard a repertoire of classical music
performed by the young artist, who presented Sergei Prokofiev's
Flute Sonata to seniors in Manhattan as well as
"Lonely Shepard" on Mother's Day. After the concert, there was a conversation with the artist.
