On Wednesday, January 29, a group from JP2 Senior Center took a special trip to Roosevelt Park to celebrate the Lunar New Year. We traveled together by bus, excited to experience the festivities. At the park, we were immersed in the beauty of traditional Chinese culture. We admired vibrant decorations and stunning traditional Chinese clothing, which added to the festive atmosphere. The celebration was a wonderful opportunity to learn and share in the joy of the New Year.
Before heading back, we gathered for a delicious pizza meal, sharing stories and laughter. It was a fantastic day filled with culture, community, and celebration! Thank you to everyone who joined us. We look forward to more trips like this in the future.
