September 5th JP2 Friendship Center, operating at the Polish-Slavic Center,
participated in the "Power of Aging Well" Festival organized this year by the city in Jefferson Park in upper Manhattan.
The event took place to celebrate September, the month of older people. During the Festival, seniors could learn about social assistance,
measure their blood pressure and sugar levels, check medical assistance programs and the possibilities of assistance from the city.
There was also an opportunity to talk to representatives of the city authorities, listen to music over lunch and join the older adults dance.
We would like to thank the city for this integration day for seniors from all over the city and we are sharing a short photo report from the event.
