We are reaching out to you because we believe that your unique products and handmade crafts would be a wonderful addition to our Easter craft fair. Our event is known for bringing together a diverse range of artisans and crafters, and we would be thrilled to have you participate.
This fair will be an opportunity for vendors to showcase and sell their handicrafts, to engage with fellow artisans, join in our Polish Easter traditions, and see a splendid blend of colorful customs and preparation for a festive Easter celebration this year. Easter-themed crafts encouraged but not mandatory.
Easter is one of the most important religious celebrations in Poland. There is a rich tapestry of Easter traditions and customs that have been passed down through generations. For example, families prepare baskets known as “święconka” filled with a variety of symbolic foods and traditional items, like candles and sprigs of fresh greenery to church to be blessed by a priest during an Easter Vigil Mass. The Easter table is also adorned with beautifully decorated eggs, often using traditional Polish techniques such as wax-resist (pisanki).
If you are interested in becoming a vendor at our Easter Craft Fair, we require a $50.00 donation fee in advance from vendors to have a table at the event (table will be provided). Please email office@polishslaviccenter.org and let us know you are interested by February 21st; send us the $50.00 table fee; and most importantly, prepare a display of your lovely handicrafts.
Spaces are limited so we encourage you to reach out as soon as possible to reserve your spot. We look forward to hearing from you and hope to welcome you at our Easter Craft Fair.
