On Wednesday, October 13th, Krakus Senior Center PSC at The Polish & Slavic Center (PSC) had the unique opportunity to host representatives from the Biblioteka Kórnicka as part of the celebrations for the Year of Władysław Zamoyski. Especially for our community, Magdalena Biniaś-Szkopek prepared a fascinating presentation about the Zamoyski family and their contributions to the rebuilding of the Polish state.
The presentation sparked great interest—our seniors actively asked questions, engaged in discussions, and broadened their knowledge about this remarkable family and their achievements.
A few days later, the seniors also had the chance to watch a documentary about Władysław Zamoyski, which further highlighted this extraordinary figure and his role in Polish history.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Magdalena for her captivating history lesson.
